Rabbit's Foot Meadery is located in an industrial park near Great America and the Santa Clara Convention Center. It is co-located with Red Branch Cider Company. The tasting room is open in the afternoons most weekdays.
There is a short bar with a half dozen taps split between Ales and Ciders. They also offer tasting of a number of different meads.
The ales are typically lighter styles. I liked the Diabhal (Irish Devil) strong ale. Unfortunately the Red Ale was out when I visited. So, I also tasted the ciders and meads; particularly enjoying the Black Cherry cider and the Dry Mead. The Melia dessert mead was "exceptional" and we brought some home for special occasions.
This is primarily a tasting room but they serve pints of ales & ciders plus they have darts and a meeting room. The host when we visited was knowledgeable and friendly. Plenty of parking and it's close to the Light Rail station.
