linkThe Noble Fir has a modern yet natural aesthetic. The front is large, with very high, full windows letting in a lot of natural light. As you enter, you find yourself in a good sized room. On the left are three wooden framed booths and a fantastic hiking resource library filled with maps and guidebooks for locations across the US. On the right is a wooden bar with a simple mirrored bar back. The bulk of the space is filled with tall wooden tables and matching wooden chairs. The walls are painted sea foam green, except near the top where they are dark purple matching the ceiling. The overall effect is quite comfortable.
The beer selection is innovative, wide-ranging, and not too large to worry the beer might be stale.
The food is simple but good - small plates of slice meats (e.g., prosciutto, salami, salmon), cheeses (e.g., manchego, chimay), and a few veggie options (e.g. artichoke hears, red peppers).
Parking is on the street.
