Ahhh "The Log." The best dive bar around. This place is not for the faint of heart. Its an old building and it looks like it. Wooden walls, and posts, cement floors, 2 pool tables, darts, shuffle board and the like are the main focus points in this place. Tuesdays and Thursday are free pool nights, Monday and Wednesday's are 8 ball (ball-in-hand) tourney nights.

Beer selection leaves something to be desired at times. They generally have between 1 and 2 beers on tap that I consider to be quite tasty. One of which is usually a selection from the Rogue brew house right down the road. That being said, this is the cheapest place to drink in town (Rogue beer is cheaper here than at the brewery itself), the bartenders are quite friendly and knowledgeable as one of the main guys used to be a brewer.

While the food they cook is the typical bad deep fried junk most of the time (except taco Thursdays), you can bring in food to eat from any of the surrounding establishments. Because of that I have to give this place a 4.75 in food due to the number of great places to order out from all within a block or two (Steak house, 2 different pizza places, 2 different Chinese places, Mexican, sushi/terryaki, italian, BBQ, burgers, pastas, and probably more I can't think of).

Late night, this place can get a little loud, and a little wild, but if you like dive bars with cheap drinks, loud music, bull horns, wet t-shirt contests, good pool players, fun bartenders, and waking up the next day like you crawled through something sticky, check this place out, and tell them J Dollar sent ya.
