This place was just awesome. I was in CA for some training for the Air Force and on our way down to my sister-in-laws, we stopped by here for lunch.

I read out this place from All About Beer Magazine's feature by Brian Yaeger in their July 2010 issue.

22 on tap, 1 cask, and 25+ in bottle. Beer is Cali heavy but that's a great thing. Being from the East Coast, living in New Mexico, trying these beers that I may never have again was just fantastic. I had 3 there for lunch. I had Stone's collaborative with Ballast Point, Kelsey McNair, and S.D County session ale, Stone's Ruination on cask w/ centennial, and Hacker-Pschorr Weiss. Trust me, you will find something you like from their tap list and bottle list.

Food. Well, I had the albacore sashimi. Out of site. My friend had their house burger. He has never had a burger like theirs. He ate like he was homeless. Not a huge menu, but it's not a huge place. I would guess on a friday or saturday night, it would be a tight squeeze. I would suggest, like others here have said, get there early and plant yourself at the bar or near it.

The area is like a small beach town. The beach is about a 1/2 mile away. The locals seemed friendly. There is a cold stone at the end of the street for your cooling down from the great O.C. sunshine.

You must check this place out if you are ever near Seal Beach or passing through to other destinations.

Great beach restaurant about 2 blocks from the shore. They have 20 or so micros on tap, and there is always something special on. Usually a cask selection as well. I went in mid October and they had 3 fresh hop IPA's on! They usually have something from Port, Green Flash, and Stone. They have a live webcam on the tap list so you always know what they're pouring. Great BBQ as well. It's a pretty tiny restaurant with a small bar and it can get crowded. We try to go early.

This is a great place for food and beer. The ribs are done Memphis style and really bring out the carnivore in me, Many other great items on the menu as well like wild boar meat loaf. The beer? well no mega lagers here but they always have about twenty of the best micros on tap plus a huge bottle list. They have a beer engine as well. The one thing that stands out here is the service, all the employees are very knowledgeable about the beer and food.
