A welcoming neighborhood place that was once a heavy smoking dive. The smoke aroma is generally gone now thanks to extensive building renovations made a few years ago and current WA state law. It has a concrete floor, a motley assortment of tables and chairs, and lots of bar stools, gambling/game machines, pool table, and a TV (generally tuned to sports). The single main room is roughly square with windows on the south and east sides and has a low ceiling painted black. There’s some covered outdoor seating off the parking lot.

The selection of microbrews is better than average for a bar although not nearly as extensive as a lot of places in Seattle. Still, you can always find something respectable to drink.

More of a bar than a restaurant, additional food, including hamburgers, is now available and they have barbecue in the summers. So far, we haven’t tried any it.
