linkNevada City is a quaint mining town that is popular year round and Mine Shaft is definitely in the middle of all the activities. The long narrow room has a good size bar along one wall and table seating on the opposite wall. A nice feature is the large patio out back with both open and covered seating which becomes tented and heated in the winter months. Unfortunately, there are only six taps, but they include 2 regional crafts, plus imports or BMCs and food needs to be brought in from nearby restaurants. Parking is on the street as well as some nearby public lots but a stroll through town is enjoyable.
