I worked in the area for a month in early 2004 and came here for dinner with a number of coworkers. It's big German restaurant that doesn't hold back on the decoration. I remember multiple people in my group really enjoying the mustard, even enough to buy some on the way out.

My mind is a little foggy on the beer selection, so I'll defer to the people who have been there more recently. But I enjoyed the place and remember the food being very good and the decoration being straight up Oktober-fest-ish.

Drank here many times over the years. The Spaten and occasional special guest brew where pretty good. The food was good also I liked the schnitzel and pretzels. The service at times can be very good and at others it can be very dreadful and sloppy. If ever in town for their version of Oktoberfest they pull out the best German food you can find. It is worth the stop if you’re in the area. Be sure to get the Spaten Optimator it is the best and very fresh. This was the first new project for Gustavs after Horst Mager retired and decided to let his daughter expand and run the business.
