One of the oldest establishments in Portland so it's cool for being so old. Cool smoky-feeling atmosphere (without any smoke though) and not too many hipsters.

Tap selection is really limited for a Portland bar. It carried your standard macrobrews as well as a couple of local bigger breweries (Bridgeport and Widmer Bros). Nothing fancy although Haymacker Extra Pale is pretty yummy on tap!

Food wasn't very good. Tots were overdone as was my burger. Service was slow and perfunctory. My wife dug her nachos though (although I wasn't a fan).

I'd go back again, just for the vibe, and hope that the food was better the second time around, so to speak.

A good easy going nice old wooden bar that serves a few local micros and macro brews. Not the cleanest looking place but it was good for a drink after the OBF. Check it out and see what you think. If in Portland and wandering around from pub to pub this is a place to check out for that one special beer with your special β€œWeird” Portland people. They do also have regualr bar drinks and bands play almost everyweekend.
