I've stopped here a few times while in Oxnard on business travel. It's a solid restaurant that serves a good variety of American cuisine. The one biggest complaint about the food is that the menu is probably too big and it's typically hard to settle on a single thing. The desserts are also good, so be sure to save room.

As far as the beer, I actually like it. My favorite is the Jeremiah Red ale, but I don't think I've had a beer there that I didn't think was good.

Oxnard is one of BJ’s 10 brewery locations. The brewing room and tanks are visible through large glass windows at the end of the bar area. There is a nice long bar with adjacent tall tables and booths plus a large/split screen and multiple TVs. The main dining area is adjacent with separate fully enclosed patio attached across the way with glass garage doors that can be opened on nice days.
The beer engine and 17 taps were operating when I visited including 6 guest (regional crafts and imports) brews plus some ciders and a house rootbeer. I enjoyed both their Chipotle Red on cask and the current Anchor Christmas Ale.
The menu includes a good selection of sandwiches, burgers, pasta and pizza as well as many nice salads and appetizers. There are also upscale entrees and some great desserts. It’s located in the Esplanade shopping area so there is a large parking lot.
