You may recognize Manny’s by its’ former name, Raleighs, and as of my visit, very little has been changed by the new owner. The sign out front hadn’t changed but the name on the menu has. Nearly all of the interior decorations remain the same. There is an L-shaped bar and a reasonable amount of table seating inside as well as a very pleasant courtyard patio out back. The twenty or so taps provide a good selection, mostly from regional craft breweries, and I enjoyed some Arrogant Bastard during the pre-game party I was attending. We didn’t check out the menu but the quesadillas (beef, shrimp and vegi), onion rings and seasoned fries we had were all good. There isn’t much parking in the area except on the crowded streets but it’s just a few blocks to the Cal campus and there are plenty of public transport options.
